Tulane has been declared in the 8.30pm at Wolverhampton tomorrow evening.  He is stepping up in trip and will have Luke Morris onboard.  He has been running consistently well on the all-weather and deserves to get his head in front.  Hopefully he will have a chance despite being up against some recent winners.

Having run a lot of our string recently, we will not have too many runners over the Christmas period but look forward to plenty in the New Year.

On Monday we had our annual staff Christmas party at the Horse & Groom in Upper Oddington.  A good time was had by all and it was great to invite Ann Saunders, Keith Rogers and Sybil and Hazel Ruscoe – who so generously donated their Beautiful People prize money to the staff.

Once again we had our ‘Teddy’ Awards (chocolate Lindt ones) and there were multiple winners.  It was especially good to give Dr George Wilson a special recognition award for all the help he gives us with equine exercise physiology.  His contribution has been a definite help to getting our string fitter and healthier.

George is also the semi-retired lead singer of The Wickermen – a fantastic band and his help with our karaoke after dinner was much appreciated.
