Some excellent racing at Royal Ascot yesterday.  As expected Frankly Darling and Battaash both won, whilst Circus Maximus was a huge price in the end although Mohaather simply did not get a run at all and will surely go close in a Group 1 soon.

Arthur’s Kingdom ran well in front of a disappointing Mogul in the King Edward VII, whilst Posted ran respectably at 66-1 to finish fifth in the Duke of Cambridge.

Hoping it’s a good day for Mr Dettori today and The Queen could have a double as there has been a fair bit of money for Tactical in the Windsor Castle.  I still think Get It, who beat that horse last time is value at 11-1.

Unfortunately tomorrow there will be no Ladies Day at Royal Adlestrop but the racing will be as entertaining as ever.  Do hope Stradivarius can win the Gold Cup again but Nayef Road looks the best each way bet at 12-1.

In the 1.50pm, hopefully Sir Dragonet will not disappoint again and the Jersey Stakes could be another for John Gosden with King Leonidas.   There has also been money for Monarch Of Egypt who has yet to fulfil his potential and Battleground looks just the type to win the Chesham for Ballydoyle
