Very pleased with Lady Of Authority’s run at Fontwell yesterday on ground that would not have suited her, where she finished fourth in the handicap hurdle after she came to challenge in the straight but found the ease in the ground against her.  Hopefully we will find more suitable conditions in a few weeks time.

Ocho Grande travelled well at Wolverhampton last night but unfortunately did not get the trip, so we will now drop him back to a mile and a half on a more galloping track.  Hopefully he will soon be troubling the judge for the Race Against Prostate Cancer syndicate.

It was great to welcome International event rider, Bill Levett to the yard yesterday to do some coaching with the staff.  It is something the team really enjoy and as ever, Bill was fantastic to observe.

It was also great to have a visit from some sixth form students from Kingham Hill School, who we were able to give an insight to about the life of a racehorse.  Looking forward to more students from the school visiting Adlestrop Stables in the future and making more young people aware of the great sport.

Today the team go to Sandown Park to receive their Lycetts Team Champion Award and looking forward to everyone enjoying a memorable day at the races to celebrate their great victory.
