Two runners at Taunton Tomorrow

Delighted to get the horses on the gallops this morning as temperatures increase slightly.

We have two runners tomorrow at Taunton with Master Vintage and Sheelbewhatsheelbe.  Both ran very well last time out with Vinnie finishing a decent fourth at Warwick, whilst Sheelbe stayed on well to be second at Uttoxeter.

With Danny Hiskett recovering from a broken collarbone, Ian Popham rides both.

Both are competitive races but it will be good to get Vinnie out again for The Adlestrop Club and with the step up in trip for Sheelbe.

If racing goes ahead at Warwick, we would give it a miss anyway as the ground will be very challenging, so looking to next week for more runners.

Owners Eustace Theodore and Mike Barrett were keen enough to join us on the gallops this morning and Mike provided his usual excellent breakfast for us which included an excellent green bean chutney.

Delighted to report that our Luke Watson (pictured on Arctic Chief) has reached the final ten in the Stable Staff of the Year Awards in the Rider/Groom category.  Luke has been a great addition to the team since joining us in the summer and we wish him good luck him in the next stage of the Awards.
