Hoping Golden Deal can follow up on her excellent run at Lingfield last time out when she runs in the 7.40pm at Chelmsford tonight. She appreciated the step up in trip and hopefully she will run well again tonight with Luke Morris onboard.
Organdi is declared at Ludlow tomorrow in the mares handicap hurdle at 1.45pm. She has had a great summer but this is a step up in class for her and hopefully she will give a good account of herself.
We look forward to stepping her up in trip in the future now that she has learned to settle better but there is no suitable race around for her at present.
With the jump season just about to get going in earnest, we are launching our annual ‘Five to Follow’ competition which begins on the 1st November. Over the next couple of weeks we will go through the horses on the blog each day to help you make your selections.
This year there is a slight change to the rules with any winning horses priced at 10-1 or over receving double points.
Full details on how to enter can be found HERE. The first horse profiles are:
Avion is a four-year-old homebred of Sue Welch’s by Arvico. His mother Tiger Line was trained at Adlestrop and won over hurdles and was placed many times. Avion came to us last spring for some education and is an attractive, athletic chesnut who has yet to do faster work. However we are hopeful he will run in a bumper towards the end of the year before he takes on a hurdling campaign.
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (pictured)
Beautiful People is an eight year old mare who has give her syndicate some great days over the last couple of seasons, winning once at Southwell and twice at Fontwell over hurdles.
She loves good ground and a stamina test. Although she has gone up in the handicap for her recent win she is a very game mare who will now be schooled over fences in order to give us more options.
