Muthabir has been declared at Ludlow tomorrow in the 1.45pm.  It is the race he won twelve months ago and hopefully he will put up another game performance.  There are now six runners and hopefully the ground will not be too soft.  He ran a cracker at Kempton on his last run and he appears in good form.  Hopefully he will give the Adlestrop Club an exciting run.

Islandray ran a very pleasing second at Chepstow yesterday for the Carbine Club Of London racing syndicate.  Travelling and jumping well throughout, he was beaten by an impressive winner and has the make and shape of a staying chaser.  We look forward to him rewarding the patience of his knowledgeable syndicate

Dandy Lass was outpaced in the six furlong novice at Wolverhampton yesterday.  Rab Havlin reported that she needs further and needs to strengthen up too.  Hopefully now she will have a handicap mark and we can find an event she can be competitive in.

Delighted to visit the Lambourn area today and welcome Laurence and Annie Robertson to Heros.  Laurence is MP for Tewkesbury and also a member of the Adlestrop Club.  As joint Chairman of the All Party Racing Committee, it was great to show him and Annie the great work the charity is doing with the rehabilitation of racehorses and turning the lives around of young vulnerable people.  Anything that makes the world more aware of this cause has to be encouraged and I know that both Laurence and Annie were impressed with the wonderful effort Grace Muir and her team make.

This afternoon it was great to pop in to see my old boss Graham Thorner to view some of the young stock he has for sale.  Graham sold us Muthabir who has done so well for us and hopefully he will continue to be a source of winners for the yard.
