Over Stated is declared in the 4.15pm at Leicester tomorrow, the two and a half mile handicap hurdle.  He ran a cracker at Warwick when third in a maiden hurdle earlier in the season but unforunately fell at Doncaster, possibly due to low sun last time out.

He carries top weight on some pretty heavy ground, however it will be interesting to see how he gets on in the conditions as he has shown he has plenty of ability.  Great that owner Ed Ware will be able to make it.

Highland Sun is declared at Chelmsford in the 8pm on Thursday.  It will be her first run in a handicap and Dougie Costello takes the ride.

It was great to welcome Chris Newport and fellow partners Dean and Sarah in their promising four-year-old Leading Light filly.  She has a decent pedigree and is progressing well and will hopefully have a great racing career before retiring to the paddocks.
