Muthabir ran a cracker at Kempton yesterday in the race he had won two years previously.  Despite the rain softened ground, he jumped and travelled well throughout and came to challenge the winner between the last two hurdles.

Despite jumping the last brilliantly he was out run to the line to be beaten just over a length by the winner into third.  He has been a model of consistency throughout his career and in his first run for the Adlestrop Club, he has given everyone an exciting start.  Let us hope the handicapper is not too harsh on him and we can find more success with him during the season.

Madame Ritz failed to get the seven furlongs at Chelmsford last night but travelled very much like the winner until the final furlong and hopefully once dropping back in trip, she will once again be competitive for us.

Tulane runs in the 6.50pm at Wolverhampton this evening and once again Jane Elliott takes the ride.  He ran a super race last time out to be a staying on second at Kempton and hopefully this evening he will enjoy his first run at the Midlands track.  He wears a tongue tie for the first time and hopefully will once again put up a good run for his patience owners.
