Viva Rafa is declared in the 5pm at Worcester tomorrow.  During his last race at Huntingdon when he finished third, he received a cut to his hind leg which has taken a long time to heal.  However he appears in good form and we are hopeful of a good run with Danny Hiskett onboard.

It was great to have Jon and Hattie Dadswell on the gallops this morning.  Jon’s daughter Hattie is looking to have a career in sports science and was fortunate to visit Dr George Wilson at John Moores University in Liverpool yesterday.  Hattie had a morning learning how to get horses fit and we are very fortunate to have George help us, especially with the use of heart monitors.

The main York meeting starts tomorrow and it’s always a fascinating few days.  Tomorrow’s Juddmonte International looks particularly interesting with Crystal Ocean heading a classy field.  Hoping Constantinople can get his head in front following a run of seconds, as he is in my horses to follow list – but I fear he might find someone to rumble him once more.
