Master Vintage (pictured) found the trip and track too sharp for him at Fakenham today where he finished fourth beaten some fifteen lengths by the winner.  The handicapper has put him up twelve pounds for future races so we were forced into running him, however hopefully he can now have a break and he will return him to a more galloping track over two and a half miles in the future.

J Gaye ran another excellent race at Southwell last night to finish second to the convincing winner.  She has been placed in all of her races and deserves to get her head in front soon.  We will look for another race on the track in a few weeks time.

Highland Sun was outpaced in the novice stakes at Wolverhampton, however she stuck on gamely and hopefully we can now step her up in trip in handicap company.

Over Stated is declared at Warwick tomorrow in the two mile novice hurdle.  He has been off for some time with a hind limb injury, however hopefully tomorrow’s run will blow away a few cobwebs and we can soon get this Irish point-to-point winner over fences.
