A busy morning, thankfully without torrential rain.  Pleased to welcome owners Dave and Pauline Mason to the yard this morning to see Present From Dubai canter up the gallops with Danny Hiskett onboard.  The seven-year-old won two out three races for us last season over hurdles.  Hopefully we will be going chasing with him at some point this season and we will look forward to him continuing to give the syndicate fun and success.

We have entered Timetobenefit and Roundhead at Southwell on Monday.  The former is well handicapped on some of her form and although she has had some niggly problems, we look forward to her rewarding her owner Helen Nixseaman’s patience over the next few months.

Roundhead is entered in the two mile novice hurdle at Southwell.  This season he will race for the ‘Race Against Prostate Cancer’ syndicate with half of the prize money being donated to Prostate Cancer UK.

He ran a bit free on his last run over hurdles and hopefully will settle better this time and he looks the type to appreciate handicap company.  He has won twice on the flat and certainly has the ability to give his enthusiastic owners some excitement and the excellent charity some publicity this season.

Happy Birthday to Danny Hiskett who has been a valued and loyal member of the team for many seasons now.  We look forward to him riding more winners for us this season and by the size of his cake, he should be able to do the weight this weekend.
