A great victory for Master Vintage today in the two and a half mile novice handicap chase at Huntingdon.  Making all the running and jumping very well (apart from the water jump), he did a wonderful impersonation of Crisp but this time without Red Rum.

Given a fine ride by Danny Hiskett, he never looked like being caught and has once again given the Adlestrop Club a memorable day. Well done to assistant trainer Hannah Gregory who rides him out every day and puts up with all of his idiosyncrasies.

Great to see so many members of the Club present for his victory and surely there is no better Club in racing.  If you’d like to join us, please see www.theadlestropclub.com

Special well done to breeders, Eustace and Carol Theodore, Karen Anderson and Amanda Langdale.  It was wonderful that Amanda was present today to witness his victory.  Let us hope the handicapper is not too severe on him.

Lady Of Authority found the rain softened ground not to her liking but travelled and jumped better than she did on her debut and I am sure once in handicap company on better ground she will be competitive and she probably needs a step up in trip.
