A Happy and exciting New Year to all, as we look set for some runners next week.   We have entered Muthabir for Ludlow on Wednesday in the race he won last year.  He ran a cracker at Kempton on his last appearance but has gone up three pounds.  However he is in good form and hopefully he will put up another game performance.

On the same card, there is a race in memory of our former employee, Luke Watson.  Well done to commentator David Fitzgerald, who used to ride out with Luke at Alex Hales, for organising the occasion.

Luke sadly passed away in 2018 and we look forward to supporting the day and his family on Wednesday.  Please do come along if you can.

It was great to welcome Hannah Bishop, her son Toby and new Adlestrop Club member Ian Kingston to the gallops on Tuesday.  They watched recent bumper winner Picanha work alongside the Club horse Muthabir.

As racing manager to Lizzie Prowting, it was also great to have Minella Whisper on the gallops for Hannah to view.  This handsome son of Kayf Tara is on the way back from a leg injury and will hopefully be soon doing some faster work.

There was some exciting racing at Cheltenham yesterday with close finishes and controversial decisions.  It was also great to see so many different ways to involve children in the racing experience, including wearing of racing silks and space hopping horses.  Race goers of tomorrow we hope.
