Another sunny day in Adlestrop and I’m very lucky I don’t have to get on a tube to work.
With daffodils out and horses coming into their summer coats, it’s hard to believe there is much wrong in the world until you switch on the news.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff, things continue as normally as possible here at the yard. In these dreadful times, it is a reminder of how well racehorses are looked after even when the going gets very tough.
Our main focus is the health of our staff and the welfare of our horses.
Madame Ritz who won and was placed on several occasions and was so nearly victorious on her last outing for us, has been sold as a broodmare. With the chance of racing in the next few months being very doubtful and the possible loss of her breeding window – it was sensible to accept the offer from Whitsbury Manor Stud for this tough daughter of Canford Cliffs.
She comes from a very tough family and we look forward to her breeding many winners.
