Master Vintage is declared in the conditional jockeys handicap hurdle at 1.40pm at Sandown tomorrow. Danny Hiskett rides. He finished third in this race a couple of years ago on his handicap debut. After being off the track for some time, he won well last month at Leicester but the handicapper has put him up nine pounds and tomorrow is a far stronger contest. He appears to have come out of the race well and we hope he doesn’t suffer with the ‘bounce’ factor.
The weights for the Grand National are out and it sounds as though the weights launch event did not quite go to plan. This year they changed it to an evening event rather than lunch time. Organisers were unaware that racing people hate going out at night and love lunches, as they can go to bed early – due to having to get up early every morning for the rest of our lives. I’m sure they will learn from the experience.
Congratulations to Dawn Spooner for being the first back to us with the correct answer yesterday of David Lloyd-George. Her Adlestrop Club keyring torch is on it’s way to her.
Delighted that we are now in the process of syndicating Brave Helios to provide some fun and success over the next months. He has provided lots of excitement for his previous owner and we look forward to him continuing to do so, in the Dozen Dreamers colours. For more details, please click HERE.
