Three runners at Kempton today

Three runners today at Kempton with Sheelbewhatsheelbe, in the 5.20pm and Bertie Barnes and Timetobenefit in the 5.50pm.  All would appreciate better going and the overnight rain has not helped, however hopefully they will put up a good show.

Sheelbewhatsheelbe has not had conditions in her favour since winning at Towcester in February.  The ground was pretty horrendous on her last run and hopefully she will enjoy this more.

Bertie Barnes has run well over course and distance in the past and Richard Johnson rides.  Better ground and further would suit ideally but there are not many opportunities around at present.

It will be interesting to see how Timetobenefit runs stepping up in trip.  She is gradually learning to settle better and having won a point to point in Ireland, she should appreciate the further distance.

Two runners at Hereford tomorrow.  Viva Rafa makes his debut over fences and although he would prefer better ground but it will be good to get some jumping experience into him.

Whilst Totterdown looked as though he wanted to go right-handed on his last run, therefore we take him to Hereford tomorrow but again he has shown his best form on better ground.

He needs to learn to settle but hopefully once he is more experienced and in handicap company he will do so on his preferred good ground.
