Some stalls practice this morning

Minella Whisper did not appreciate the slow pace of yesterday’s delayed handicap hurdle at Huntingdon.  Some more cut in the ground I am sure would help and he will now have a nice holiday before coming back to go chasing later in the year.  I am sure he will continue to give Lizzie Prowting a lot of fun this season.

His rider Tom Bellamy was in this morning to ride out and school in our outdoor arena.

We also did some stalls work with the two-year-olds who seem to be late maturing types and we look forward to running them in the autumn.

We have entries for next week, including on the flat.  Many are beginning their holidays and Muthabir and Bertie Barnes look particularly content this morning lounging around in the sun.
