We have made some entries for next week in the hope of some much needed rain.  A very sunny work morning today and it was great to welcome a great selection of owners to the gallops to watch the horses.

Delighted to welcome a new addition to the world yesterday, with our mare Gianna giving birth to a colt by Passing Glance.

The mare is an unraced first foal of our excellent racing broodmare, Giovanna.  The foal was born locally at Batsford Stud and will hopefully be as successful as the rest of his family.

Gianna spends most of her time down in Somerset with friends and part-owners David and Sonia Wike and hopefully will be a successful broodmare like her mother, who has produced many winners including Back On The Lash.
