Muthabir Declared for Kempton

We have declared Muthabir for Kempton on Boxing Day in the two mile five handicap hurdle. This is a step up in class following his Huntingdon success but there are few opportunities for him at present and conditions should suit. Danny Hiskett will ride and take off the five pounds the handicapper put him up for his last win.

More visitors to the yard this morning including Tony Ashall and John Rosbotham who came to see their steeds on the gallops.

Although not many runners in the 32 Red King George – it should be a fascinating race. The small field should benefit all the runners, so no advantage there other than the fact that I think if Thistlecrack’s jumping is slick, he appears to have an engine like no other around at present. May the best horse win and all come home safely.
