Monday 6th September, 2021

Flying Dragon has been entered at Bath on Saturday, however the ground is firm at present but hopefully some rain is on the way towards the end of the week.  We have a few ready to run in the next couple of weeks on the flat and over jumps but finding suitable races is not always easy.  Hopefully there will be a few opportunities next week.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand at Moreton Show on Saturday.  It was great to see so many friendly old and new faces and hopefully we have spread the good news that is Adlestrop Stables.

Congratulations to those who won one of the wonderful prizes in our ‘free prize draw’ which had many entries and was a great success.  Thanks to all who helped on the day.

It was great to be a judge of the ‘Supreme Championship Horse and Pony’ classes at the Moreton Show along with Olympic Gold medallist Laura Collett.  Making a decision in such circumstances is always hard, as the standards are so incredibly high but well done to all.

We are very much looking forward to National Racehorse Week which starts this Sunday 12th September.  Delighted that our yard is a sell out to the general public and we look forward to welcoming our owners along too, to celebrate the racehorse.  Well done on the Racing Post for their excellent pull-out produced on Saturday, emphasising the nationwide support for the event and I am delighted so many trainers are supporting the week.
