Stow on the Wold, where the wind blows cold – a chilly weekend and morning but life goes on as normally as possible.

No chance of getting bored here and taking the opportunity to get many jobs done that have been put off thanks to a rainy winter.

Enjoyed watching Racing TV and some racing memories, especially Sir Mark showing us Newmarket.  I don’t normally have time to see such things and all their fascinating features.

Undoubtedly there is a great sense of community around Adlestrop and throughout Britain and hopefully when this is all over, there will be a round of applause for all the NHS workers on a set date every year.

It is a natural instinct to want to be appreciated – just ask my PA!

Went for my first shop since the lock-down yesterday and Tescos are doing a great job at providing a safe environment and morale up.  I timed it so that we gave all Tesco workers in Stow a round of applause.  Much deserved.

A number of you have asked how Barnsy is getting on in self-isolation.  So far so good and most of Oddington have dropped food off for him and his house looks like a food bank.  He did a short video for you all HERE.
