Tulane ran with great credit on Saturday evening under Callum Hutchinson.  Making the running, he ran a bit fresh having had a break but looked to have the opposition at it turning for home.  Hopefully we can follow up in a few weeks time with similar tactics now he has a run under his belt.

We have declared Lady Of Authority at Wolverhampton on Wednesday, in the two mile amateur riders handicap.  She will be ridden by my assistant Hannah Gregory who has had plenty of experience over jumps and rode the winner of the Ladies point-to-point final.  This is a step up in trip for for the mare and on her previous outings, it looks as though she should stay the two miles.

As we reach the end of yet another jumps season, like for many it has been a frustrating one.  With a winter of very heavy ground and some untimely injuries to some promising types, it has been difficult at times.  However our staff as ever have been wonderfully supportive and hard working and we look forward to the new season repaying everyone’s efforts and patience.  Hopefully some rain will appear soon as we still have a few potential runners before some are go on their summer holidays.

As we see the lockdown being gradually lifted, we look forward to welcoming our wonderful owners and supporters to Adlestrop Stables in this new season with a bright future for many.
