Arctic Chief won’t run after the rain

Unfortunately the rain has fallen at Warwick and therefore Arctic Chief will not be running tomorrow.  Everyone has been very patient with him and therefore it would be fairly pointless running him on ground we know he does not like.  We will find a better option for him soon.

Looking forward to a few runners next week, including Golden Deal and Brave Helios, whilst many of the string are increasing their fitness for a run towards the end of October.

Had an enjoyable weekend in Jersey, thanks to the generosity of owner Bunny Roberts.

Bunny has a homebred four-year-old by Kayf Tara called Big Fiddle in training with us – from the family of Welsh National winner Fiddling The Facts.  She is a fine mare who has shown promise and is a half-sister to Ifits A Fiddle who won a bumper for us at Wetherby.

Photo of the first tee on Friday at 8.30am at the Royal Jersey Golf Club for the Animal Health Trust golf day.  There are worse places to be.
