Brave Helios is declared in the 6pm at Newton Abbot tomorrow.  He was a good second last time out at Stratford and hopefully the step up in trip will help.  The ground could do with drying out a bit overnight as well.  The sounder the surface the better.

With Danny Hiskett now unable to ride in conditional races due to age, we have booked the experienced David Noonan for him and let’s hope he runs another nice race for the Dozen Dreamers Partnership.

Beautiful People finished fifth yesterday in the handicap hurdle at Southwell, having made a mistake in a vital part of the race.  If she had not, she would have undoubtedly finished closer.  It was a very competitive race for it’s type and we will try and find a weaker one for her soon.

A busy weekend with a visit to point to point rider and trainer, Gina Andrew’s yard to see some horses on Friday.  Whilst it was great to go with Brian Duckett to see Sue Welch’s horses at her Hampsire farm.

Between us we breed from our old mare Giovanna who is now in foal to Telescope.  Sue has an assortment of mares and offspring and it’s always fascinating to follow their progress.
