Off to Taunton today to saddle Elfride (pictured) in the 2.45pm – a three mile mares handicap hurdle.  Hopefully the step up in trip will suit her and she gets a fair bit off weight off the opposition in what is a competitive little affair.

Fine Theatre found the going far too soft at Uttoxeter on Saturday which did not help his breathing and we will now find a race on some more suitable going and possibly over a bit further.

Iron Horse was travelling into the race very well at Chepstow yesterday and looked as though he was going to be very competitive before failing to get his landing gear out at the fifth last, having jumped the fence brilliantly.  With luck, we can find another race soon as he is undoubtedly able to win another race or two should conditions be in his favour.

It was great to welcome one of his owners Karen Anderson who came over from America for the weekend to see him in action and hopefully his owners will be rewarded soon with this popular homebred.

We have Methodtothemagic and Totterdown entered for later in the week and a few more of the string pencilled in to be running soon.
