Off to Wolverhampton for the 1.50pm with Highland Sun and then the 6.45 pm at Southwell with J Gaye.  Highland Sun is up against it in a very competitive novice however after this run she will have a handicap mark and will hopefully be competitive.  Jane Elliott rides.

J Gaye ran very well last time to be second at Southwell and we drop back a couple of furlongs today.  Georgia Dobie rides and claims five pounds as the handicapper put her up four for her last run.  It looks competitive on paper but hopefully she will run her usual consistent race.

With the handicapper expected to put Master Vintage up a fair bit for his win on Tuesday, we have decided to take him to Fakenham tomorrow with a seven pound penalty.  Dropping back to two miles may not be ideal but if he were to get into a rhythm jumping around the sharp track, he will hopefully put the others to the test.

It was great to see so many of the Adlestrop Club attending our gallop morning on Saturday.  The Club saw second lot in action on the gallops, including their new horse Muthabir.  It was great to watch the replay of Master Vintage’s win at Huntingdon on the big screen in the village hall – once again proving it’s the best value Club in racing.  If you’d like to join, you can find more details HERE.
