We have entered Brave Helios for Newton Abbot at the weekend.  Having gone up in the handicap for his second at Worcester, we are stepping up in trip even further in the 3 mile 2 handicap hurdle on Sunday.  Hopefully he will be competitive once again as he appears in good form.

Looking forward to possibly having a couple of flat runners at Chepstow on Thursday, including the first of our breeze up runners, Tulane.

A great day of racing on Saturday with the climax being Harry Angel’s great victory in the July Cup.  Clive Cox is one of racing’s good men and it was great to see his skills exposed once again, defeating the old boss’s Limato in impressive style.

Having backed Enable to win the Oaks, I have a soft spot for her and once again she was very impressive in the Irish Oaks.  She is a gorgeous filly and looks the stand out amongst the three year olds this year and could well win a L’Arc de Triumph.

Jockey James Doyle is having a very good time of it.  I’ve known him since he was a toddler.  He has always been an exceptional human being and it’s great to see his talents rewarded.

Delighted to see Kieran Shoemark riding so many winners and losing his three pound claim.  Kieran rode out for us at Adlestrop as a teenager and always had the look of a top class jockey and he is well on the way to being one.
