Off to Chepstow today for the 4.15pm where Celestial Magic steps up in trip following his success at Towcester.  Hopefully the ground is well watered and it will be interesting to see how he gets on with the increase in trip on better ground.

Once again Danny Hiskett rides claiming five and although up four pounds for his last success – he is a real tough cookie and hopefully will put up another good show today.

Western Storm is declared in the 3.40pm at Kempton tomorrow.  Hopefully the quicker ground will suit him having not enjoyed the conditions at Warwick last time.  Ian Popham once again takes the ride and hopefully from this run, we will be able to see if he is a summer jumper in the making as he is a very good moving horse.

A busy Easter period despite the lack of runners due to the firm ground.  Ian Popham has been in schooling in the outdoor school on Thursday.  Also it was good to welcome many owners, including Fairford Goes Racing and Anne Ray.

Yesterday I was kindly invited by Peter Saville to his annual family gathering at Plumpton.  A shame the ground was too fast for Sheelbewhatsheelbe to run in the handicap hurdle but a fun day all the same and it was good to meet up with so many friends on the course.
