A huge thank you to all that supported our village open day yesterday. Many owners and supporters came to visit on a sunny but windy afternoon in our beautiful Cotswold village. Although most of horses are turned out at present on their summer holidays, those still in enjoyed the attention of our many visitors.
The fun dog show run by my hugely popular PA, Jo – was a real hit. The record crowd I am sure was helped by the attendance of the wonderful Eleanor Tomlinson and her fantastic father, Malcolm. Eleanor said judging the dog show was the highlight of her week and it was good to show her Adlestrop for the first time. A photo of her judging even made the front page of The Times today and also is in the Daily Mail as well as the Racing Post.
It looks as though the day has raised around £10,000 a remarkable effort by all and we look forward to supporting some great causes, including the Midlands Air Ambulance – a vital service for all in the horse world.
Many thanks to all concerned.
We have Brave Helios and Beautiful People entered this week and hopefully they will have each-way chances as conditions look to be in their favour.
