Stunning mornings in Adlestrop over the last couple of days, with sunshine, blue sky and autumn colours.  Worked a few horses this morning with heart monitors on in preparation for next week and delighted to report they are fit and ready to go.  More monitoring tomorrow morning as we plan runners for the next couple of weeks.

The jumps season is really stepping up now and there was some excellent racing at Newbury yesterday including impressive wins for Dusart in the novice hurdle and Petrossian in the bumper.  The latter is by Sageburg – an interesting sire going places thanks to offspring such as Rouge Vif.  Delighted to have a three-year-old by him pleasing us at present.

The Breeders Cup meeting looks a fascinating event as the flat season comes to a close, along with our flat ‘horses to follow’ competition known as The Apistles.  Of the twelve members, I am mid-div in the table so I’m hoping that Mogul, Siskin or Kameko do the business.
