Cosmic King is declared at Huntingdon on Sunday in the 2 mile maiden hurdle.  Hopefully the rain will have stopped by then as ideally he would like some good ground.  However he showed promise on his hurdling debut and has taken well to jumping.

Sheelbewhatsheelbe ran with credit in the novice hurdle at Taunton yesterday and I am sure once in handicap company, she will come into her own.

Viva Rafa travelled strongly into the race turning for home – unfortunately I think his palate problem has resurfaced and we will investigate it.

Looking forward to attending the Greatwood Charity Race Day at Newbury at tomorrow with Desert Joe running in the charity race, who will be ridden by Hannah Bishop.

Hannah has a great record in the race having won it on Prince Du Seuil and was third last year on Coyaba.

Desert Joe has been a joy to have in the yard over the last few weeks, in preparation for his ‘swan song’ before his retirement.  He is a lovely character and I am sure will go on to do many disciplines in the future.  Hannah has raised over £5000 for the cause, thanks to everyone’s generosity.
