Present From Dubai (pictured) is declared at Uttoxeter tomorrow in the hope that some possible overnight rain will make the ground safe enough for us to run.  He has taken well to chasing but this is a step up in trip for him, as there are not many other options in the racing calendar at the moment.

We have entries on Monday at Warwick and Kempton and at Kelso on Wednesday with Lesser in the novice hurdle there.  Again, looking for some safe ground.

Wonderful racing at Punchestown this week and it was great to see Sam Twiston-Davies have such a high profile winner on Clan Des Obeaux.  A marvellous horserace and well done to connections for taking on the challenge.  Sam’s smile said it all after the race and he is such a great ambassador for the jumping game.

It was great to welcome Amanda Langdale and Hazel West to walk up the gallops and watch the horses this morning.

Pleased to announce the results of our Five to Follow competition. A great victory for JTD Bloodstock.  JTD stands for ‘Jenson The Dog’ – who was Colin Pocock’s Leonberger who sadly passed away about 18 months ago.  Pictured below.

Jenson also won the competition while he was alive and is obviously an excellent student of form.

His owner Colin was joint runner-up along with Amanda Langdale.  Well done to all the winners – the prizemoney is on the way.  If you want to see how you got on, you can view the final results HERE.

Already looking forward to JTD Bloodstock’s entry for next season to see if he can get the treble up.
