A morning of cantering and the horses and staff are in fine form following yesterday’s coaching session with international event rider, Bill Levett.  Bill very kindly coaches our riders through the season which all the staff very much enjoy.

A brilliant and natural teacher, yesterday Bill focused on helping our riders with flat work and jumping technique.  It was great to get some of the youngsters off the ground and give them some experience and confidence over obstacles.

Yesterday Pricewise concentrated on the 1000 Guineas and pointed out that Santa Barbara the favourite, has been well backed recently due to some scintillating home work.  He correctly observed she is by Camelot and there have been Classic favourites who have disappointed by this talented sire.

Instead I would be looking towards Joan Of Arc, also from Ballydoyle who at 16-1 and an excellent pedigree could well be the value should she make the line up.  She showed her well being by winning under Ryan Moore a couple of weeks ago on ground that was surely far from ideal and looks a filly of great potential.

Happy Easter!
