Tulane ran very well considering he’d been off for so long at Sandown last night.  Jane Elliott gave him a very good ride, settling him early on before challenging at the two furlong marker where he stayed on nicely beaten three and a half lengths by the winner.

He has had his problems but hopefully they are behind him and he can reward the enormous patience of The Tulanes syndicate.

A great evening of racing at the Esher track last night in beautiful weather and the racing experience doesn’t get much better than that.

We have declared Iron Horse in the 5.05pm at Uttoxeter on Sunday.  Apparently the ground rode well there last week and hopefully will do so again.  He ran a fine race at Chepstow on his last outing but has gone up in the handicap and things will be harder this time.  However he appears in good form and we are hopeful of a good run before he goes on a summer holiday.
