The whole team were absolutely delighted to see Picanha (pictured) win yesterday at Warwick.  Stepping up in trip, he showed great ability and tenacity to win in a course record time.

Given a fine ride by Finn Lambert, the first two pulled well clear of the third and hopefully he will go on to be a cracking chaser for his wonderful owner Lizzie Prowting.

With the ground drying out, we decided not to run Rossbeigh Strand who has shown his best form on softer going and we will hope for some rain in May.

Today we are off to Chepstow and Southwell.  Both Methodtothemagic and Corrany run at the Welsh course, while Shadow Walker heads to Nottinghamshire.

Methodtothemagic has had a few niggly problems in her career but her owners have shown great patience and we look forward to her returning to the track today in the mares novice hurdle.  Hopefully she will settle well early and having been off for a while, she is sure to come on for the race.  However she has plenty of ability and will should make a useful chaser next season.

Corrany runs in blinkers for the first time.  He has lots of ability and let us hope the new headgear brings some improvement as we return to hurdles.  Danny rides both.

Shadow Walker runs in the two mile handicap hurdle at Southwell with Finn Lambert onboard.  Hopefully the drop back in trip will suit and he certainly has the ability to be competitive in such an event.  He is wearing a hood for the first time which should help him to settle.
