Tulane ran a cracker last night to finish second, beaten a neck, in the 8.30pm at Wolverhampton.  Settling behind the leaders, he challenged in the straight and was gaining with each stride as he approached the line.  Now he is learning to settle better, hopefully he will be winning soon for his very patient owners.

Mighty Elsa travelled and jumped well to the straight on some very heavy ground at Uttoxeter today.  Not surprisingly she got tired in the straight but hopefully she will have learned from this experience.  She is still on the green side and will ultimately want three miles on some better ground.

Hopefully we can get her out again in a few weeks time to continue her education and this fine mare looks every inch a chaser in the making.

It was good to do some schooling over fences and hurdles this morning, including Iron Horse who appears to have taken well to the bigger obstacles.  He will need a bit more practice but he looks a useful chaser in the making, having done so well for us over hurdles.
