We have decided to wait for Bangor with Organdi as with an Irish challenger at Worcester and rain forecast, it looks the better option.  She appears in good form and hopefully will have improved for the experience of her excellent run at Uttoxeter.

The Adlestrop Club had a very enjoyable day in the village hall on Wednesday, watching the racing from York.  One of the great meetings in the flat calendar and as ever – it is providing some excellent performances.

The tipping competition was won by Claire Walker with her 25-1 winner of the Acomb, chosen on the basis that she lives very close to Wootton Bassett, the sire of the victor.  As good a way as any to pick the winner!

Hopefully the rains will stay away for the Adlestrop Club charity cricket match at the local ground on Sunday.  The match starts at 2pm and everyone is welcome.  It is in memory of Luke Watson and it is fantastic that thanks to friends and colleagues, we have some excellent raffle prizes as we raise money for Racing Welfare and Adlestrop Cricket Club.

Please do come along if you can.  The entrance to the cricket ground is just off the A436, next to the lodge, opposite the Daylesford turning.
