Timetobenefit is declared in the 1.05pm at Taunton tomorrow with Danny Hiskett onboard. She missed an opportunity to run at Huntingdon last week and it will be good to get her out and about having been off the course with various niggles. The ground will be heavy and hardly ideal but she appears in good form and will ultimately need a bit further to be seen at her best.
The rain continues to fall but we were able to school some more horses this morning as we are due to have a few runners over the coming couple of weeks.
A fascinating clash at Ascot tomorrow between Defi Du Seuil and Un De Sceaux. As many will know, Defi is one of my favourite horses in training but it will be a tough task for him tomorrow and may the best horse win.
At Haydock, Pentland Hills is favourite to land the Champion Hurdle trial and will need to settle better than he did on his seasonal return at Cheltenham. However I still think he has a great each way chance in this year’s Champion and hopefully he can take this as a stepping stone for the big one.
