Fingers crossed for Madame Ritz

Off to Wolverhampton soon to saddle Madame Ritz in the 5.25pm.  She appears to be second favourite behind a well-bred colt who is dropping in trip.  Let’s hope we run well as she has been incredibly consistent for us.

Lady Of Authority is declared at Wolvherhampton on Saturday evening in the 7.15pm.  She was purchased at the Newmarket sales in February and has shown ability and we will hopefully find out a bit about her following this run, as it’s difficult to see from her form what her best trip will be.

A morning of cantering for the string and a few summer coats are coming through thankfully.

Today’s Pricewise ante-post special is on the 1000 Guineas.  Aiden O’Brien has the first three in the betting and Clemmie looks the best of his group.  Sir Michael Stoute’s Veracious impressed me as a two-year-old and although not certain to run, if she were to turn up in the race, 20-1 looks each way value.
