Delighted with Sheelbe at Uttoxeter

Delighted with Sheelbewhatsheelbe’s second at Uttoxter on Saturday.  Given a fine ride by Danny Hiskett, she stayed on well up the straight to finish runner up to a well handicapped winner.  She will definitely improve for a step up to three miles and is a tough and consistent sort who should be great fun over the coming months.  She is currently being syndicated and if you would like more information on joining in with this fun mare, please see HERE.

Many thanks to the members of the Adlestrop Club who turned up on Saturday for our schooling morning.  Around 40 of the Club witnessed horses jumping over fences, hurdles and barrels.  Afterwards sausage sandwiches went down very well and we look forward to doing something very similar next season.

It was great to welcome Bob and Pauline Scott to the yard this morning to see their promising Irish point to point mare, Mrs Barnes go up the gallops.  She is a fine, rangy four-year-old who finished second on her only point to point run in Ireland in March this year.  She very much looks like a chaser in the making and will hopefully give Bob and Pauline some excitement over the coming seasons.
