Arctic Chief ran another cracker

Arctic Chief ran yet another cracker on the all weather last night at Kempton.  Travelling well under Rab Havlin into the straight, he stayed on a one pace behind the previous winner, beaten 2 ½ lengths by the winner and only a short head for second.

Hopefully he will have a good career on the flat ahead of him and he is rewarding his patient owners the Too Many Chiefs.

Totterdown runs tomorrow in the first at Ludlow, a 2 mile maiden hurdle.  Danny Hiskett will ride and we may well ride him more prominently in the hope that he settles better.  He has schooled well at home and certainly has talent based on his bumper runs.  However his best form has been on better going and it may well be too soft for him tomorrow.
