A snowy morning

A snowy morning in Adlestrop and the schooling morning was postponed as it was difficult for jockeys to get to us.  However it looks very picturesque if you didn’t have to work for a living.

Minella Whisper was a bit outpaced in the novice hurdle at Huntingdon yesterday, on ground that would not have been perfect for him or many other horses.  He is crying out for a fence and some better ground and will hopefully be suited by handicap company once in the right grade.

Totterdown pulled too hard for his own good in the bumper on some very testing, dead ground.  He found it hard work in the straight in what was a competitive race.

He will now go novice hurdling and hopefully an obstacle will get him to settle better as he definitely has ability judged on his first two bumper runs.  He jumps well at home and I’m sure he will be suited by better ground as he is a good moving type.
