Quiet on the runners front at present but look forward to having some flat runners next week.  It’s the time of year when we steam clean and paint the yard and make it smart for the when the horses come back in from their hols.

Delighted to welcome Will Forsyth-Forrest and Hector Chamberlain to the yard at the weekend.  They are students at Dublin University who along with their friend Wilfrid Ward, are trying to break a world record by racing unicycles from the bottom to the top of Ireland in aid of the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund.

If all goes to plan they will unicycle the 400 miles in 11 days dressed in racing colours and break the world record.  If you’d like to follow their journey or support them in any way you can do so via their BLOG, FACEBOOK PAGE and FUNDRAISING PAGE.

Hope we have a great turn out on Sunday for Adlestrop Open Day which runs from midday until 5pm.  The yard will be open and we will also have the mobile training unit from the British Racing School present.  Please do come along if you can.
