Lady Of Authority ran a bit flat at Kempton last night.  Georgia Dobie admitted she was a bit further back than she wished and wasn’t helped by the draw.  However she did lack a bit of zip at the finish and will now have a little break and she will school over hurdles.

She appears to need a few weeks between her races but with her going up in the handicap and very few all-weather opportunities about, we were forced to give her a run last night.  She has done well for us over the last few months and she has the size and scope to jump a hurdle so I am sure she will continue to give us some fun.

Off to Sandown tonight to saddle Tulane in the 6pm.  He has been off for a fair while but has always shown ability and let’s hope we can make up for lost time.  This is a competitive event but there are very few other opportunities around at present for him and hopefully it will be a good starting point to his campaign.

I have been at Doncaster sales for the last couple of days searching for new recruits and delighted to have purchased two Irish point to pointers with the help of Irish agent Gerry Hogan.  Gerry has bought many a good horse, including Paisley Park and we look forward to filling you in on the details of them in the future.
