Viva Rafa ran well yesterday at Huntingdon finishing third in the novice handicap chase.  He travelled and jumped well before tiring in the straight and we will probably drop him back to two and a half miles for his next run.

He did cut his hind leg during the race which will hopefully clear up over the next week or so and we look forward to him giving us some excitement over the summer.

Hopefully we will have some runners next week and we did some schooling and stalls work in preparation.  Looking forward to some visitors for work morning tomorrow.

Chester looked pretty muddy today and as ever the meeting has given us a fair few Classic clues.  Sir Dragonet was most impressive in the Vase on Wednesday and I doubt is in many horses to follow lists.

Potentially a great Dante next week with Too Darn Hot and Japan both aiming for the Derby trial.  Both horses are in my list and hopefully one of them will go on to victory at Epsom.
