Viva Rafa has been declared at Huntingdon tomorrow in the novices handicap chase at 4.25pm with Danny Hiskett onboard.  He’s had the winter off in order to aim for a summer campaign.

He has always shown plenty of ability and although being placed on plenty of occasions, he is yet to get his head in front.  He appears in good form and has schooled well at home and we are hopeful of a competitive run.

With some entries for next week, we had a good work morning today.

It was great to welcome Adrian and Linda Wright to the yard yesterday afternoon.  They have been long time supporters and have a share in our four year old sprinting mare Madame Ritz, who is on the come back trail following a split pastern and hopefully will make up for lost time this summer.  She has strengthened nicely over the winter.

Well done Liverpool on one of the great come backs last night.  A great manager but news is that my fiver has gone out of the window with Harry and Meghan not calling the baby Jurgen, but Archie Harrison instead.

Great to see Pat Smullen on ITV Racing today as a pundit.  He was interesting and insightful.  A great jockey who announced his retirement yesterday and we wish him well in his fight against illness.
