Off to Stratford today to saddle Master Vintage in the 2.40pm.  It is a competitive novice handicap but he made a very pleasing debut at Huntingdon and although needing further than this, it looks the most sensible option around for him at present.  Let’s hope he gives the Adlestrop Club some further excitement this afternoon.

At Sandown on Saturday, Totterdown jumped the third last as if he was going to be in serious contention before stopping very quickly once turning into the straight.

Danny reported he may have flipped his palate which may explain why he has not been finishing his races on his last couple of runs.

We will investigate and hopefully we can solve the problem and find further improvement.  He has given Fairford Goes Racing a great deal of fun and excitement this year and looks potentially a very nice novice chaser for next season.

I will be at the Kings Head in Bledington and the Horse & Groom in Oddington this evening for our annual Cheltenham Previews at 7pm and 7.45pm respectively.  The former with Alastair Down, whilst the latter will be the debut of the Richard Phillips/Archie Bellamy double act.

Please do come along if you want to find out the latest news and fancies for the Festival.
