Present From Dubai is declared for Wincanton tomorrow.  They have divided the race, however there are 14 runners and it is competitive.

Hopefully he will have come on for his Doncaster run and with Danny Hiskett taking five pounds off, it will be interesting to see how he gets on.  They are promising to water the track to make it safe ground and tomorrow’s run should tell us a lot more about him.

It was good to be on the schooling ground this morning on a beautiful Cotswold blue sky day with assistant trainer Hannah Gregory and Danny Hiskett doing the honours.

The ground is drying quickly and I’m sure Simon Claisse is looking at his taps at Cheltenham racecourse.  Being clerk of the course is one of the most difficult jobs in racing but I’m sure he will make the right call.

My Cheltenham nap, Defi Du Seuil looks now a possible for the Arkle, with the favourite owned by the same owner now not running. Whichever race he runs in at the Festival, I think he has a huge chance.
