Totterdown ran his usual game race at Chepstow on Saturday, making the running until two out.  The weight told from then on and he finished a good fourth behind a decent winner.

Ideally he goes in softer ground and let’s hope we can find some after the handicapper has reassessed him.  He has schooled well over fences and given his favoured ground, he will make a decent novice for next season.

It was great to welcome Clive & Jo Wale and friends to the yard on Saturday morning.  Clive has been a great supporter for many years, including having a share in the talented King Jack.  Clive brought along a few of his work colleagues for a morning on the gallops and it was a pleasure to show them around Adlestrop.

A few more Cheltenham clues from racing on Saturday and with spring in the air, it won’t be long now before the first roar at Prestbury Park.

Very much looking forward to the Adlestrop Club’s Cheltenham Preview, which is a week today.  If you have not booked your tickets, please do so as soon as possible.  Once again it promises to be a memorable and profitable evening.
