A great victory for Organdi yesterday at Taunton.  Given a fine ride by Danny Hiskett, she jumped well before taking it up after the second last and winning in convincing style.   Everyone’s patience has been rewarded and she is now qualified to run in the EBF mares final at Newbury on 23rd March.  We will see how she comes out of the race before coming up with plans.

Delighted for everyone involved in the Beautiful People syndicate, having purchased by Organdi and Beautiful People in France on an Adlestrop Club trip.  Hopefully there is a lot more fun to be had with them both over the coming months.

Nearly had a double with Lady Of Authority running a close third, beaten a neck at Wolverhampton last night.  Apprentice Georgia Dobie who is attached to Eve Johnson Houghton’s yard gave her a very good ride and hopefully we will get another win out of her soon before she goes hurdling.

Off to Doncaster today to saddle Muthabir in the 3.25pm in what is a tough contest but he never lets us down.  Whilst Iron Horse makes his handicap debut at Ludlow in the 5.10pm.  Hopefully the handicapper is correct in his assessment of him.

It was great to welcome Colin Pocock to the gallops this morning to see his five year old Shadow Walker do some work.  Shadow was delighted to be reunited with his old mate Jenson who he plays with when on his summer holidays back at Colin’s.
